UKIWS Demonstrators – Steve Twydell

Steve started his Templeboy Turnings Youtube channel in September 2015 and originally used the process to come to terms with the loss of his father in June. Since then he has found his niche in the woodturning community and is now known for his use of unusual materials and “out of the box” thinking when it comes to design and experimentation.  Steve isn’t scared to try things others simply don’t think about, like turning glued up CD cases and even boiled sweets!  He was also one of the first people to video an experiment with turning coloured pencils, an idea that has gone viral in YouTube Woodturning circles.

Steve’s demo is 4pm to 5pm on Saturday 15th July.
