Mark has been turning professionally since 2004 and produces a wide variety of turning but specialises in the pure of turning hollow forms and other vessels by working in wet and seasoned home grown timbers.
Mark also enjoys adding colour, texture and other media to his work which is heavily inspire by nature as well as Far Eastern cultures and philosophy.
Mark is a member of the Register of Professional Turners with his work taking him around the world to places such as Australia, USA, and many destinations in Europe to demonstrate, teach and take part in wood art collaborations. He has written over 50 articles on the subject of woodturning with his first book ‘Turning Hollow Forms’ being published by GMC Publication in 2014.
